I think he's cool, don't have any strong arguments for him... He's not the best but he's not as bad as some here make him out to be imo.

His goofy facial expressions and twitching doesn't bother me and I'm sure it puts him over with the kids who actually spend money on toys and t-shirts

Cool, but that's not the point of the thread, nor does it answer my question. I've said it a million times that the crowd likes him, I'm not asking that nor am I asking why he's champion, I'm literally asking the people that like him WHY they like him, and the only answer I've gotten is that "the crowd sees something in him," which isn't an answer at all, unless youre a follower who only likes something because other people do, but if thats all you see in HIM, and not any actual talent, then it confirms that he is indeed

he's supposed to be a "lunatic fringe" but hasnt done anything during his matches, nor said anything in his promos that would constitute such a nickname aside from.....his appearance? the twitching? His promos are awkward, boring, and above all, waaaaaay too GENERIC and run of the mill for someone who's supposed to be a "lunatic."

the way he wrestles COULD fit his character but it doesn't only because of how sloppily, slowly and poorly he executes in the ring which takes away from his moveset which is already limited and to begin with.

Because despite the poor booking and poor writing he is a good believable character. Plus he does the scrappy underdog better than anyone not named Bryan Danielson. His theme goes hard as fukk in the gym during cardio too.
