Even as a kid I never let anyone pressure me into smoking or drinking. I allowed peer pressure to affect the way I dressed in regards to name brand clothing but never allowed it to affect me indulging in substances.

I said I respect those who don't drink for health reasons. But as far as peace of mind? I don't buy that rationale. Some of our greatest thinkers and contributors to civilization were drinkers, many of them habitually so. Dudes who say that should just admit they're squares.
