You want your kid to know they can bring your their troubles as their most trusted resource on this planet. Making them fear that’ll you’ll light them up instead and thus having to walk on eggshells around you is counter-productive.

There’s plenty other ways to discipline your child effectively than bringing it to physical violence and berating. Putting it on camera to add further insult is taking it to a level that is inhumane.
