So Im thinking about getting a charge card too and not using my debit card anymore. I’m not feeling the annual fee and I don’t travel. I would probably spend approx 1-2k a month on the card and pay it off every month(obviously). Anybody have any reviews for the premier gold card?

you don't get points for using a debit card so why not plus you can do charge back whereas on a debit card you can't

I agree with you but I don’t pay any fees on any of my 2 debit cards. I think the two Amex cards I was looking at was 500 and like 200 yearly. While I would use the cards daily it seems that the cards I’m looking at are geared towards travel. I don’t travel. I just want an Amex card that I can earn points from everyday purchases and occasional large purchases. I buy jewelry and designer handbags. I want to be able to apply points as statement credits or towards things other than travel.

The Everyday Blue Card by Amex would be better for you in that case. you get double the points for shopping and gas :yeshrug: I dont pay annual fee with that card
