Well, while I was in college I realized I knew more than the idiots there repeating what the teacher told them to say when they couldn't figure out how to assemble a computer from the base components. There I was building them in half an hour while the repeato idiots were sitting there unable to figure out what went where.
So I left college after 2 years...
Got heavily involved with aggressive inline skating, Spent most of my days in NYC doing computer sales and my nights bartending.
Then left NY for a while on some hell type demonic mess. Smoked lots of weed, had lots of sex, went some of everywhere and had some of everything.
Then I decided it was time to grow up and slow down.
Worked a bunch of computer based jobs up and down the east coast for the Army, bounced from database data entry, database management, photo editing, layout management, logistics management, hazmat management and disposal, Vaccine management, Project Management...
(You don't have to be IN the Army to go far WITH the Army)
Just kept bouncing my way up.
No degree necessary when you have the skills to meet the requirements of the job.
But you have to WANT to keep at the crest of the wave when it comes to technology...
