Out here in my damn drawls
But again you're judging and that's what you're saying you can't stand about Christians. People can believe whatever they want. You're just proving my point without answering my question. Plus The Coli is a black site and mostly everybody up here is an atheist right? :mjpls: so clearly the black community isn't as bull headed as you think. It seems like atheists think just cuz there isn't proof of anything there is no God and if you believe there is you're an idiot. Am i wrong? :sas1:

Yeah, I'm judging, I don't live by that slave manual :scust:

I'm judging from evidence and expieirences of dealing with half way religious people.

And how do you know most people here are black and non-religious. Believing shyt without evidence again, huh? Just can't help yourself :lolbron:

These neochristians live secular lifestyles, but stay trying to have one foot in the church. No true devotion, no discipline, just hypocrisy.

I even see muslims going to school and work with their prayer rugs, and wearing certain clothing. Why can they put effort into trying to comply with their crazy book and y'all can't :mjpls:?

-I tell you why. Because deep down, you know the shyt is crazy.

-You know there's nothing wrong with wearing mixed fabrics

-You know there's nothing wrong with women speaking in church

-You know rape and pedophilia is wrong

-You know abuse and slavery is wrong

But these things are condoned. If y'all can't accept that stuff, why should anyone else respect it

If we all folllowed those books, the world would be hell on earth.......... much like the middle east is now :sas1:

It's not as simple as believing or not believing God when it comes to the politics of religion and secularism

Smh you base all Christians on the halfway Christians you've come across?:upsetfavre:Sounds like a good explanation. Just to let you know I think religion in general is more catered to man. All the rules, dos and don'ts put on it are from man. Christianity is more about spiritualism and relationship to me rather than if I do this I'm going to hell. So you already messed up by judging your perception of Christians on Bible thumpers

I agree with your perspective but that's our duty...you have the right to say no just like in anything else but don't judge us cuz of what we believe

:heh: breh.....

don't you see that by going out amongst the "Godless" and trying to convert them that you're judging them because of what they DON'T believe?

You're basically telling them that their life will NEVER be good enough because they don't share your belief system.

But then on the same token you go into places to explain your beliefs in hopes of convincing people (and yes the greater majority of non-christians respect where you're coming from) but when you anger people because you won't just :manny:....

you claim YOU'RE being judged. :heh:

Like this thread, for instance.

No, I'm sorry, it's not your "job" to walk up to us and remind us we aren't going to get into Heaven because we don't share your belief.

:heh: it's like people here feel about Napoleon..... every second of every day! :mindblown:

Think about it, breh. :whoa: and yes, I respect your beliefs, because it's your belief. But non-christians get bombarded with christianity all day every day. TV, Music, Billboards, Internet. Social Media. Friends. Family. Potential significant others.

This thread was made and here you are.

But...... YOU'RE being judged!?

I agree that the problem is Christians approaching people like that. When I talk about Christianity I approach more like what its done for me and present it as an opportunity rather than a dilemma. But it is part of our job as Christians to spread the word. Now if we convict you even before we convert you whats the odds of you converting? :stopitslime:so I agree that the method is wrong but it seems like everybody here is judging off of the typical "Part Time" or "Bible Thumping" Christian. Those aren't the only 2 categories we fall under ya know.

You just wrote this

As Christians our main goal is to evangelize or spread the good word. Now I know there are many out there that take this to the extreme and over do it

Either you out there spreading words from that slave manual or you ain't. :hula:

And what exactly does taking it to the extreme mean in christianity? :patrice:
