miss me with the backhanded compliments.

if you disagree with something i said, then address it and stop acting like a nut, just cuz you in your feelings.

lol. this is the chit I'm talking about.

lazy ass "hip-hop" fans always giving way too much credit to the people they like

3-6 pioneered the sampling of theme songs now? and whats scary is ive seen worse on this board.

people just need to stick making appreciation threads, instead of ludicrous chit like this.

I'm starting to dislike them because of threads like this. that's not a bias. what part of that don't you understand?

i should've participated in your threads earlier in the year?? i never even heard of you until last night.

research my ass. you can fool these lil geek freaks on here that's cosigning you, but anybody that knows their chit, will look at your posts & laugh.

you really think I'm gonna waste time searching out your posts?:heh:

i didn't even mention UGK. that was somebody else.

yall typed these rants up for nothing.:snoop: goofy ass 3-6 mafia stans mane.

but for the record, UGK is indeed more influential than 3-6 mafia stylistically.

youre stupid.:heh:

:usure: @ the bolded.

you know hip-hop is generally seen as trash nowadays right?

It is trash now a days cuz it's a watered down and microwave culture now and most of the shyt has no substance nikkas take a sound and run it to the ground and make it dumber and easier for others to do like that kindergarten nursery rhyming ass nikka lil yatchy.

Of course NWA won't say that stuff now. They're rich middle aged black men with everything to lose. But that doesn't change the fact that before them hip hop was mostly about partying and battle rapping.

Their sound was very influential tho. They'll never be a top group overall tho becuz lyrically they were decent at best. UGK and Eighball and MJG rapped circles around them

ehh, NWA themselves were party rappers until they followed behind schooly d & ice t.

pimp c wasn't a good rapper. and bun b was kinda chitty at first too.
at least 3-6 mafia had scarecrow. and koop was alright.

and you do realize that 3-6 mafia chit is easy to duplicate right?:comeon:

Without the mafia you don't have certain cornerstone artists that currently play a pivotal role in the culture

TI
Young Jeezy
Gucci Mane
Lil Jon & The Eastsideboyz
Luda
Rick Ross
DJ KHALED
Yo Gotti
Flock
Lil Uzi
Desiigner

2 Chainz
RHQ
Future
Migos
A$AP ROCKY
A$AP Ferg
Chief Keef
Lil Durk
21 Savage
Shy Glizzy
Fat Trel
Young Thug
Scrappy
FRENCH MONTANA
Young Dolph
YFN Lucci

Producers
Lex Luger
Zay
Mike will
Lil Jon
Metro Boomin
KANYE WEST
Wheezy
Dun Deeal

Now look at the artists who've actually adopted their sound for songs or albums at some point in their career

Kanye West/Jigga
Meek Mill
Wale
Nas
Mobb Deep
50 Cent
The Game
Scarface
The Ruff RyderS
The Lox
Fat Joe
Diddy
Nelly
The Diplomats
That whole list is expendable. All of them could go. I would give zero fukks. :yeshrug:

What classic songs did the second list of artists make using the 36 sound? What Mobb Deep song has the 36 sound? :jbhmm:

Facts. Even if it's not super blatant, the concept is still the same. The ethereal type production that artists like Playboi Carti, Archibald Slim, Bones, Lil B etc use.
Yeah but modern day hip hop is trash. The worst it's ever been. From the rappers to the beats. You may not personally agree but you can't deny its a prevalent sentiment out there.
So what do you make of 36 being the driving influence engine behind hip hop at its worst? :jbhmm:

theyre about to flip their arguments around and start deleting chit off of 3-6 mafia's embellished resume.

but was their sound copy and pasted by the ton like the shyt is now?

Anyways y'all go head and have y'all back and forth. I ain't old enough to sit here and argue history with y'all all I know is 3 6 was mad influential to me and a lot of the new nikkas are using a sound that I know them for especially A$AP.

More so hip hop elitist as it pertains to hip hop and colonialism as it pertains to the way white's try and rewrite history to control the narrative in society historically and presently

Sorry for the confusion

The white colinal(elitist) picks who they want you to feel did what/or had the most influence
Yep. You're making the comparison :pachaha:
You can pick up Pimps book from last year and he's giving them credit for their sound and its immediate influence in the BOOK..
What did he say? What impact did 36 have on the run through Riding Dirty?
thug motivation 101 is unquestionable :manny:

just depends on how you detect an influence really.
Personally I could care less about that album. But it is held up in that regard.
The singles don't sound like 36. I guess it was the album cuts?
I don't remember hearing anything about 36 in connection with Jeezy back when that album dropped :jbhmm:
heir sound is everything
And hip hop is the worst it's ever been. :jbhmm:
They gave the south their identity when before shyt was real west coast influenced
:patrice:
GB. That Thick Rap A Lot sound in the mid 90s. Organized Noize.
Live love asap @SirBiatch

Or are we not counting mixtapes?

(------ WORD TO

THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!!!!!

I could go on but I would hurt feelings. They've got artists outside of hip hop who've dibbled and dabbled with their sound

They're sound literally right now dictates the culture and now the Coli is starting to see it

You can't turn back now :bryan:

and this struggle-list is bullchit.

if you asked most of these people to name their top 5 influences, or if you jotted down what you think their top 5 influences are, then 3-6 mafia's name is not likely to come up in most cases.

this thread is just shameful. SHAMEFUL I tell ya.
