"I think it's always a combination of when, developmentally, those guys are ready," Stearns said. "And also when there's the need and how to fit it on the roster. And so we may get to the point where we decide that it's the best thing to do to bring one or both of them here. But we're not at that point right now."

Yes. Yes we are you fukking nerd. What are you trying to see from these old ass vets that they haven't shown us yet? They are who the fukk they are. You made bad moves with bringing in Montas and trading for Blackburn. The fans will soon forget if you move on. If not.. Met fans are about to flood your socials and run your ass outta town.

I'm sure we'll be at that long once montas shyts the bed against Mil. After mil we got Atlanta and Seattle. Heffner needs something to work with.

On the other end of the spectrum, Chavez has a ton of material to work with. The Dominican Ted Williams, the 30/30 guy at short, Devin Williams' father and athletic freak with a world of potential, but they are doing so badly, the opposing starter is getting cheered in Queens. Fire him and give guarno the rest of the season to see if he deserves the job and a big raise.

This team has too much offensive talent to all go bad at once. Chavez has had long enough to fix things

That's a combined $146,525,000 this season. Entire coaching staffs get fired for less. All that great, young and healthy talent should not be struggling that much.

I would have Baty DH against the righty instead of marte, but marte is pretty good against RHP. Maybe the majority of the Big 3 can break out of the slump and start carrying the team again
