i never was a fan of that move where the player pump fakes then jumps into the defender to draw a foul. it's kinda cheap imo
Kevin Love is the worst at this, he jumps sideways as the guy flys by.:scust:

This wasn't that, looked like PG tried to pretty much go straight up and couldn't, really silly defense by Gobert. You're 7 ft don't leave the floor until the shooter does.

Wait, this is what you nikkas are bytching about:dahell:!?

It literally looks like Gobert just brushed his jersey. PG didn't even look like he was affected:skip:.
He airballed the shot what you mean by he wasn't affected :dahell:

Neither am I, and by my principle I don't believe it's a foul. However, that's not how the refs have been officiating that tactic for years now. That has been acknowledged and ruled as a foul for a while now. For them to just swallow their whistles on a precedent that they've set as a CLEAR foul, is inexcusable. It's clearly not a mistake, they would've seen Gobert jump and make contact with PG.

As I said earlier, if they're not going to call that as a foul, it better continue on in the next series, and all the other series' (which I know isn't going to happen).

I'm mad about that no foul call. PG should have gotten his free throws. And I'm mad about the foul trouble Gobert and Favors were in (both had 5 fouls by the middle of the third quarter and were pulled out during OKC's huge comeback) and some of the foul calls that led to it during game 5 of the series. Both the victories of game 5 and 6 felt assisted by refs. I'm mad because tonight's victory is completely hollow because of that clear foul from Gobert on PG on that 3. But at the same time, I felt the refs really helped OKC out in game 5 :yeshrug:

Either of these teams will be swept by the Rockets anyways

You're still gonna tell me he didn't initiate after seeing this angle?:francis:

:dwillhuh:

That makes Gobert look even more guilty. He jumps right into PG's shooting space. Like right into it. And makes clear contact with him. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that ploy should be called as a foul (personally), but the refs have been calling that shyt for a minute - they've got to stick to it. They can't pick and choose when to call it, depending on the situation of the game.
