TI is the very definition of what Gza rapped about:

"rhymes that's mad long, make it brief son
Half short and twice strong"

Tip's a clever guy with his cute syllables but he really ain't saying shyt, I've never even heard a single line of his that made me :ohhh:

Like, as corny as Luda or Wayne or the other non-GOAT but popular Southern rappers can be, sometimes they'll drop something that's ILL - TI is just always consistently 'ok'.

that is all that matters dumbass.

As far as solo acts id rank him top 5 from the south. Just based on SOLO albums and tapes alone id go

Face
Ross
TI
Killer Mike
Wayne

Krit is also up there on my list. Pound for pound Ross has the best discography of any rapper from the south imo

@ wacky d mandizi lyrically who is messing with tip in terms of rhyme patterns etc.

Tip is a top 5 - 10 southern rapper ever imo.

His rhymes patterns have always been good, except for maybe T.I. vs. T.I.P..

He may not have the one-liners of a Luda or Wayne, but the boy can go for whole song. His flow be clean as a whistle.

Who would've thought T.I. would outshine a Jay-Z on "swagger like us"?

trap muzik king paper trail and trouble man are his classic albums

and i agree ti got a way better discography then fab in all reality.

:usure: bout Trouble Man and Paper Trail.

Tip was at his best before he went pop. Urban Legend is overall his best album imo followed closely by Trap Muzik

Hah, you see? That's right
Ay, you know see Weezy for the wordplay, Jeezy for the bird play
Kanyeezy for diversity and me for controversy
all my verses picture perfect, only spit to serve a purpose
You ain't living what you kicking then you worthless
Lookin from the surface it may seem like I got reason to be nervous
Been observant, work to see if my adversity was worth it
Verse is autobiographical, absolutely classical
Last thing I'm worried 'bout is what another rapper do
Ain't nobody hot as me
Even if they rap they ass off, blast off and have outstanding qualities
Sell a lot of records, I respect it and salute that
But spitting real life on hot beats, I'm the truth at
You kick it like me, no exaggeration necessary
Living revolutionary, nothing less than legendary
Gangsta shyt hereditary, got it from my dad
Flow colder than February with extraordinary swag

u ain't lying he rhymed his ass off on that shyt

MAC

besides, tip's "complex" rhymes are always tacky. he says a bunch of nothing and accomplishes less with his verses than the simple rhymers that he tries to set himself apart from.

Im Serious, Trap Muzik, Urban Legend are all classic albums. TI's discography is way better than Fab stop playin

tip aint never come close to making a classic album.

urban legend wasn't even good.

tip & fab's discogs are about even actually. i'll give tip the edge in albums because "king" & "trap muzik" are the best albums between the both of them. but fab dropped 2-3 standout albums as well, and his underground/mixtape work is far superior to tip's.
