So, Ross isn't top 5? Are we really going to have this discussion?

No he isn't nikka. :what:
I don't how you could reasonably say Ross doesn't deserve a place among the top 5. For the past decade, he's easily been the most consistent and most influential rapper in the industry, with a discography of albums that are timeless and still see heavy play among the playlists of millions. Trilla, Teflon Don, Deeper than Rap, God Forgives..Two of those are certified classics, the other two arguable classics in their own right. The singles he's dropped are still considered some of the best songs released in the past decade. BMF, Stay Scheming, Rich Forever, Rich off Cocaine, Mafia Music. Name the artists who have exceeded the quality of his output from the moment he was on the scene to now. You can't. I know some of you want to act as if the CO controversy is a mark against his record that he'll never be able to wipe away, one that puts his consideration among the the top 5 or 10 in jeopardy, but most people don't give a shyt about that. The simple fact is that the dude is one of the most respected artists in the industry, receives nothing but love from the streets, and has dropped timeless cuts that fill all of our playlists. You can't be a serious aficionado of this music and not give Ross his due unless you're a hater.

That's wht I'm saying

First Date
Wait until tonight
The Mechanic
Bad Newz
I gotta get mine
Hole in yo back
I'm a hustla
Good die young
Position of power
God gave me style
They burn me
Then days went by
Strong enough
Okay you're right
Major distribution
8 mile remix
Till I collapse remix

That's the thing - mixtape 50 and G-Unit Radio 50 is a WHOLE different animal than what some of these cats talking about. I still remember when Mechanic dropped. Grime season :wow:

Plus if we wanna talk about not aging well Paper trail was TIs biggest album and it aged like trash. And after that he went to jail and never put out anything that was on that level commercially

TI vs TIP wasn’t a record that was received well at the time either.

people went up for Luda vs Nelly who were the poster children for shyt not aging well

I love tip but you ain't wrong. Ti vs Tip was the first album I didn't buy from TI

No he isn't nikka. :what:

Is he even top 5 from FL??

And to people thinking this will be 50 in a landslide. T.I. has anthems on top of anthems and some commercial smashes as well.

50 Cent pulls out "Candyshop". T.I. could counter with "Let's Get Away" or "Whatever You Like". 50 pulls out "Just A Lil Bit", T.I. could hit him with "Bring Em Out".

I see 50 winning rounds with "In Da Club", "Wanksta", "Many Men", "What Up Gangsta", "Outta Control" remix, and "I Get Money". Still, T.I. still has some competitive counters in "What You Know About That", "Big Things Poppin", "ASAP", "Motivation", and "Top Back"

Man, you aint even mention real classic hits.

Dopeboyz, rubberband man, 24s, be easy, neva scared, round here, ima king, hurt, my love, stomp, what up, what's happening. Dead and gone.

Now I think about it. That 03-12 run was about as solid as they come
