Sandman, Bloodclot, Mef vs Chef, Bring the Pain, Tical - I mean I love Nas and IWW but I see dudes simply naming the IWW tracklisting as if it's an argument. As if Tical is full of filler.
Really just depends on the mood - grimey hardcore = Tical. Smooth = IWW. Gun to my head I'll go with Tical.
Both albums kind of suprised the audience. People thought Meth was the popstar of Wu and he gave them the darkest album. People expected Nas to stay on that NY Pete Rock/Premier shyt and he went with the Trackmasters - I agree with posters saying that the actual subject matter of IWW isn't that different, it's just that Nas had seen some money at this point and he added the perspective of being rich (which he wasn't yet) to the mix. Illmatic was also on that gangster shyt but usually from the broke nicca perspective.

outside of Shootouts ive always thought IWW has aged well. Trackmasters on the whole has not, but they really went in on that album

shall we revisit how meth coulda taken the #1 mc spot in nyc after BIG died as NAS was a non factor by then..so much so unknown jigga/dmx beat em both to the punch.

please go visit the nas it was written wikipedia page and you will see that the album got mostly great reviews (quite a few 4 outta 5s).
yes, it got some mixed/bad reviews as well and was slammed for its cross over attempt,but to say that EVERYONE disliked it, is false!!!
and nas being a non-factor was him taking a 3 year hiatus after finding out his mom had cancer and peers of his being murdered!!!

rhymes on IWW was superior, but it had some weak tracks on there...production and flow of Tical was better...Biscuit and Sub Crazy are two of my favorite beats ever and All I Need is the best hip hop joint for the ladies...

Tical is possibly the most disappointing album ever. It should be compared to albums like Lifestylez... not IWW
