I'm just glad as a 15 year old I was still unaware of the concept of the New York old school hip hop elitist and was able to enjoy both albums without disappointment..

It took me joining message boards as an adult to find out how much people hated everything we used to love...

:manny:

nothing elitist about it. the album was dull. it's quite simple really. beats sound like joints Quincy Jones would have a DeBarge sing over.

i couldn't even tell you the last time i listened to either of those albums all the way through. each album produced 2 of my favorite songs from either rapper in take it blood/shootouts, and what the bloodclot/bring the pain, but they certainly aren't the first albums i'm going to throw on when i want to listen to something.
