To be fair, some men should take accountability for turning a blind eye to anti-black behavior in our community. That's the thing. We should be mad at some of their inaction and enabling of anti-black behavior. Like the criminals, they should be held accountable. My issue with black men being blamed for this and that is that being mad at black men for not being full of toxic masculinity, then attacking them for having said masculinity or standing up for men as a whole is stupid. As for women, you're seeing it on display. Those women will not be held accountable for perpetuating anti-black behavior. Men could hold them accountable, but then said men would be attacked and derided for even caring, let alone doing something.

In the end, men and women should both be working to punish people who perpetuate anti-black behavior, both online or otherwise. It should be encouraged in women so they too can have a voice in all of this and counter such toxic rhetoric.

I agree with all of this, but the issue here is it’s hard to hold someone else accountable when you refuse to hold yourself accountable.
Especially considering black men purport themselves as the leaders or should be leaders of the black community. At some point if you want to be the leader, you have to actually lead. Black men can’t call themselves leaders then sit around and wait for women to be accountable. LEADING means you go first and set the example.

They can not support things that emasculate black men. They are consumers too. Black men, conversely can also not support things that emasculate and attack black men.

I do agree with the idea that black men could be more organized. I would like to see more black women be more willing to check other women for black male trashing at least with the same fervor that other black men go after other black men for trashing black men. A support system would have to be set up or put in place to uplift black women that are willing to go against anti-black and anti-black male narratives. For example, support should be sent Arnold's way, with those attacking her reported for their comments. We should find and cancel those that are being egregious in their comments as well and contact their employers. There needs to be consequences for not only attacking black men but attacking black women in a c00n-like fashion like we are seeing. This alone, will prompt more women to speak out and call out other women publicly. Even more so, some of those women should be willing to call out men for not defending themselves against such attacks. In any case, ultimately, I do think a separate black society would have to be built, like I alluded to earlier.

my 2 cents (and I don't want to argue), but SOME Black women need to get off the feminist wave that Black men are the enemy and don't protect Black women, and stop cursing out Black men like they're little children when disagreements or arguments happen.
