I thinks it's the other way around. Tiger too :flabbynsick: to be leaving anyone. Tiger turned into Garfield after getting exposed for cheating on his pawg with all those other pawgs.

nike and their shyt equipment hurt tiger, he could have had more titles if he wasn't sandbagging himself with their shyt drivers and putters

I always thought it was the nature of his swing that fukked him up. At least that's what people always said. Basically it was bound to happen at some point or another, along with the accident recently.

Thought that at first to but then I thought about it:

It was 30 years ago
He is a golfer
Nike was already Nike
Nah, it was a trash deal.

Jordan made more money himself with Nike in his first 27 years with them, and Nike wasn‘t “Nike” then.

He's been who he is longer than Lebron. He did more for Nike than LeBron has. That Masters shot where the swoosh on his ball is shown before going into the cup. Iconic

Isn’t his career essentially over after all those injuries?
He still has his name. He'll threaten to do well every couple of years but he's not sniffing another major any more. He's still every golfer's favorite and GOAT. The fathered most of the pros out there.

Thats my point. Before they became Nike they were more likely to do more talent friendly, frankly desperate, deals (see: Magic and Haywood). They were the shyt in the 90s. Therefore they had no reason to buss it open for a golfer. But he had every reason to connect with THE brand of the time. And what was his leverage? Its not like there were bidding wars over young black golfers back then.

I think a lot of these higher end luxury brands have really killed Nike and Adidas in the apparel space.

Peter Millar, H&B, Greyson, Malbon and others are all that Pro Shops carry any more, and almost no one is going to dikks to buy plain Nike golf shirts any more.

Then you have these online startups with nice materials that's better fitting that are capturing the younger jits. I've bought a few of these random polos for work mostly and they're great. shyt like Bylt, Cuts, Legends, Sunday Swagger...

Nah, him going out and doing green beret and special ops training and being a sex addict and shyt hurt Tiger.

Don’t blame the equipment. He was sonning dudes by 10 strokes with that very same equipment. Wasn’t until he literally started training like he was going to war when shyt started to go downhill.
Yep. He envied how Earl had such tight relationships with his old Green Beret buddies. Tiger wanted that camaraderie but it's hard to do that when you're a billionaire golfer that didn't fight in wars.

He broke his body down and it's sad because dude didn't have to do all that shyt.
