Either he got bad advice from his rep or nobody else was offering a better deal. And I think we woulda heard by now if he got a better offer and passed on it. You don't get paid in the moment from and unprecedented shyt that couldn't be predicted. We cant use 2023 eyes on a deal from 1996.
The issue isn't the deal he signed in 1996.

The issue is he didn't get more after. I remember the initial Nike deal, it was like seven years for 35 million. After the Masters win, he should have pushed for more.

I thinks it's the other way around. Tiger too :flabbynsick: to be leaving anyone. Tiger turned into Garfield after getting exposed for cheating on his pawg with all those other pawgs.
That doesn't make any sense considering you have known golfers that have been retired for years still getting endorsements

N1gga, Tiger Woods in his prime was bigger than kobe and and Lebron. The fukk u talkin about? U know how expensive golf shyt is? Tiger Woods did more for golf products selling across the board than anyone

Tiger's main asset to Nike was the brand awareness he brought to the company. All eyes on him for 5 straight hours on Sunday afternoons, Nike logo clearly visible. But Nike golf equipment weren't hot like that amongst golfers, there were seen as inferior products. Their golf shoes and apparel didn't sell like that either.

But the brand awareness he brought probably netted Nike billions from sales other than golf related items.
