You weren't asking me but as the OP, I wanna respond too.

I didn't do a complete tear of mine, but it got so bad that I couldn't walk for over a week. I mean, literally could not stand. I was on crutches for a week a half.

Eventually I could walk a little bit, but it took several months for it to heal completely. I didn't even consider an op route.
I just tore mine I’m doing non op route. They put me in a cast 2 weeks and I’ve been in a boot for 2. I had a complete rupture

This shyt is terrible

anybody else ever felt this?

It's been like this in my left leg for the past couple weeks

got me shook to do leg workouts cause I don't want to make it worse

but it's tight. Like every time I move my leg, I can feel that it's tight.

@ultraflexed @Claudex @Asicz

I just got passed something like this.
Doctor recommended stretching several times a day . And some shoe inserts called power step. It got so bad that I had to walk with a cane , till I seen this dr. I’m good now, shyt was getting depressing :francis:. I’m able to work out now , I just can’t run full speed.

did you go the op or non op route ? i just tore mine 4 weeks ago

I'm sorry breh. I hope you get a speedy recovery bro. I went the op route on my left leg I tore at 21. Non op on the right leg at 30.

Depending on how bad your prognosis is, if you got a complete tear, then you'd be better going the op route and the likelihood of it tearing again is slim.

If it's a partial tear, you'll need to do some aggressive rehabbing and you'll be back to normal in no time.

You went non op on the right leg after a complete rupture?

Whatever you do, do NOT stop working out. Even after you fully recover, keep working out.

I say that because it's been 3 years for me now and sometimes when I lapse on my workouts, I can feel that weakness in my Achilles tendons.

But when I work out regularly, I don't feel any weakness at all.

That's what I did. I ignored it, thought it would go away. So I kept working out while it was injured and living life normally. One day it just went completely out.

When I tell you I couldn't walk, BRUH. I could not walk. I had to get on crutches.

These answers are you best bet. Also it’s hard to remember that we need to stretch more when we become :flabbynsick:. Try to rotate your ankles, one at a time, 50-100 times, each direction, when you get to work in the morning and again when you get home at night.

Yep, it takes 60 seconds to create change so remember that when stretching, try to do 3 sets in the morning, afternoon and evening

I was having the same thing month's ago. Get a dry towel/ or belt and do some of the exercises in the video
