Tim Duncan was ALWAYS a center, it just so happened he got drafted to a team that already had a Hall of Famer center on it, and Popovich ran with that Twin Towers style for a while.

Patrick Ewing and Bill Cartwright, and Ralph Sampson and Hakeem Olajuwon, each played together... were they not all centers?

When it's all said and done....does it really matter if he's a center or power forward? He's a first ballot HOF and one of the best players of all time. Call em a center, power forward, or a tweener.

Even now, he's still playing the tweener role w/Splitter. It's all semantics :manny:

As of right now I already think Duncan has had a better career. I'm just pointing out that some Spurs fans were adamant that Duncan wasn't a Center when Shaq was still beasting.

As Shaq started his sharp decline suddenly Spurs fans just wanted to refer to Duncan as a "Big man" and the past couple of years they've been lobbying for him to be considered a center.

I swear I don't remember ANY of this bruh. It wasn't like when Shaq was beasting, Duncan was some Todd McCullough sh!t, he was beasting too :manny:
