if you don't feel like aaliyah deserves a biopic, that's cool, i kinda agree, but to act like she didn't matter or was the ciara to those two being beyonce and rihanna is absurd.

The label was disappointed with her single response to We Need A Resolution..nikka that shyt dropped in APRIL or some shyt and the album dropped in July...stop it..her album was already Gold by the time she died and she didnt even get to drop another single till after death..u dont know WHAT wouldve happened if she was still here cause neither u or me are psychic so just leave that alone..it didnt happsn so we cant talk about it..

they were dissappointed with her sales period. it was seen as a flop man.

those numbers were nothing compared to what the other big names were doing at the time. and more importantly, the album lacked the impact & buzz. and on top of that, there was a whole new regime coming thru. alicia keys came thru and eclipsed aaliyah's career immediately that summer.

what didnt you like about the tlc movie? it was dope for what it was., a vh1 flick.

notorious wasnt that bad. they had a nice lil budget to since it was a theater flick. the downfall to me was that it was a fake fluff-piece and some of the casting was terrible.
