I knew the moment that I heard "Tell Em I Said That", that he had a special chemistry wit the boy. Trouble Man is trash, instead of enlisting a bunch of knockoff trap producers to lay the groundwork, he should've hit up DANJA for at least 75% of the production. Would've actually been a top album of the year.

Nah. people credit the greatness of Danja's work on FSLS because you can hear his distinct signature style/sound through the album (sexyback, my love, summer love were produced by him if i'm not mistaken), Without him there would be no FSLS either
the reason justin didnt ran back to him is because he didn't put out an album yet. Chances are, he might collab with him again on the next album.

Scream was a master piece even if J-Roc as a co producer<<<<<<<<< Danja.
But the whole album was cohesive as fukk. Chris Cornell's fans who were used to his soundgarden and audioslave sounds felt like he sold out and started to turn their backs on him. the comments that i read when scream came out were just

But yeah at the end of the day, the album needs to be dope and Timbo needs to redeem himselves for the wack shyt he put out these last couple of years

I'm not discrediting Danja or downplaying his involvement. It's just that a lot of times, Danja is assumed to be the mastermind behind every successful Timbo track circa '06-'08 when it wasn't the case. They were collaborators and the liner notes note who did what on which racks for the most part. The crazy part about it is Tim never tried to keep Danja a secret. None of us would even be discussing Danja if he was some "ghostproducer". Dude even had solo credits on Timbaland and Nelly Furtado's respective albums ("Miscommunication" and "Showtime").

Without Justin Timberlake tapping Timbaland for Futuresex/Lovesounds, those songs would've never been heard.

People usually say this because it's true. I'm not trying to shyt on timbo cause he's my goat but it what it is.

Just take a look at what a lot of people consider one of the best pop album of the last decade "Blackout" by Britney
Danja handle the bulk of the production on this album and it's . The same with the duran duran album.


At the end of the day, i wish those two could get back together and make dope music again
