We all agree that the Wolves need to go after Thibs with everything this summer right? Give him whatever he wants, they need him as their coach.
I agree but this is why @tremonthustler1 is having a hard time embracing everything Twolves here. It seems like they pretty much said they're bringing Mitchell back

You must have missed the 2005 White Sox season where they sucked dikk in the last month, but then won the World Series dominating the playoffs. But Ima let u cook.
2005 White Sox

One of my GOAT teams :mjcry:

If they didn't have that September collapse they would have won like 105 games and went 11-1 in the playoffs. Would have had an argument for one the best teams ever lowkey

Hakeem, Robinson, Ben Wallace and Magic Dwight could do it extremely well. And while not a center, KG in his prime could guard 1-5, there was a game where they put him on Tmac for the entire game, shut him down.

KAT looks like a generational player, the Wolves have what most bad teams want in Wiggins, Towns and even LaVine.
There bad because their too young. They need to get Sabonis or that center from Utah.

They have the guards and wings but they need a legit consistent big outside of Towns

just watched the recap. How you gonna blow a 17 point lead mid-way through the 3rd and still manage to lose the game?

You're the warriors... That shyt is unacceptable.
Coaching. Starting to look more and more like Kerr is a mascot. Players turn the ball over, take bad shots, and blow leads continuously and all Kerr does is watch. Hell, Walton is really looking better than he is.

Multiple blown big leads, especially late is mostly due to coaching. Players get bored, etc and its up to the coach to adjust and coach them out of those games.

The most annoying thing about this whole shyt is how the Spurs played everything. The W's spent this whole year pushing hard as fukk for this record meanwhile Pop had his team on a record breaking level playing on cruise control most of the season riding in the wake of this record shyt the whole time just half assed winning games enough to keep pressure on Kerr to keep winning. I'm not sure if he thought it out to this level, but getting them to push like that seems like some shyt he'd come up with.

IMO it was just foolish to push for the record. They would not have been the first repeat team that didn't have home court throughout the playoffs.

The key was to be healthy and well rested. I mentioned this way back at the beginning of the season and was beating the drum on not burning themselves out.

But this is on Kerr there were plenty of games this year where he could have given dudes games off.

Great points. KG was so good that he would guard MJ (late in the 4th) during the bulls second three peat run.

Also a young fresh out of college Duncan could do it for spurts.

Those 1996-1998 pacers gave the spurs hell in the regular season whenever they played them. The Spurs had no one who could handle Mark Jackson. He would post up little dudes and knock down jumpers on taller dudes.

He was so much of a pain in the Spurs side that Pop actually had Duncan guard Mark Jackson. Timmy had the length and lateral quickness to keep Jackson out of the paint and of course his height would stop Jackson from posting up.

That pacers team was one of the most underated teams in basketball history when talking about that time in the 90s. They had 4 guys who could post up in Mark Jackson, Rick Smits, Jalen Rose and Derrick Mckey. Then they had dead eye shooters in Reggie Miller and Chris Mullen who were starters.
