Wasn't Kaaya projected to be a 3rd-4th round pick around the time of the draft? How do you go from that to actually being a 6th round pick to not even making the team?

believe it or not at 1 point in his soph year some had him as high as #2 overall. now that was a wild projection, but many had him late 1st or 2nd at worst. its his feet, they are not only slow but he never improved on moving in the pocket. awareness was not good, combine that with slow and stubborn feet and you got alot of failed drives

its hard to see in-game sometimes, but all he had to do many times was just slide over and adjust the throw. but he would often go down easily, not something you want from a 6'4 215 lb. person. and the results in big games speak for themselves, and apparently he could sometimes be a bit aloof even among teammates. the negatives started to pile up, hes a 70s style player in an evolving world.

This is where all those Twitter Draft experts do these guys a disservice. Once Kaaya was hearing his name mentioned/tweeted about being a 1st round pick in spring of 2016....he was gone no matter what.

Its his Bday too

Kaaya a panther now Ken Dorsey looking out :wow:

I know everybody hypes up Shaq Quarterman as the leader of the defense, and he might be our best LB, but I think pinckney is the leader. He brings that emotion and swagger out of the other players.

Pick scares me sometimes, hes like Alvin Bailey from The Program. he takes things very seriously

wondering when someone was gonna rock Malek as an avi :laff: Amari had the chain too for that FF but i cant find it now

I think Kaaya got it worse

Morris had a chance to play for Jedd Fisch, a well respected OC at the NFL and college level. He was a 3 star recruit out of HS. all things considered, he's done well for himself

Kaaya on the other hand got jobbed a bit, but the kid does have some deficiences that I'm not sure even top coaching staffs could've helped. How do you cure a QB who is shook anytime there is pressure in the pocket?

watched a little of arky state's offense. they play really fast. quick passes put to the receivers. if diaz doesn't figure out a way to get his team off the field on 3rd downs, it could be a long day.

Richt supposedly said Delany was gassed vs bcu :francis:

Richards might play this week.

Delany need to get it together...Not gon knock him for one so so game. The best ones adjust and do it quickly, we'll see where he is on Sat.

That Kaaya and SteMo pic got me :mjcry:

SteMo had a cannon and man if Fisch woulda stayed :whew: he was developing nicely.

Kaaya had that deer in a headlights syndrome. He was decent but I don't think we saw his full potential.

Nigs said (i forget lil bruh name, fresh rb) #24 was gon be nice, he look pretty good. He run tough, got some speed.

Hopefully the team will be focused and not thinking too much about the FSWho week. Play hard, beat Arky State (at Arky State :scust:) and get out with, prayerfully, little to no injuries.

Play hard, somewhat vanilla to keep State with as little tape to analyze as possible, and beat Ark State and we good.
