Kawhi is playing a whole different game though. He literally has to work his way back to being an nba player…then he to become elite again. There’s not many players that can do that.

Kerr literally said the reason why team USA cut Kawhi was because he looked like a shell of himself. Now look at the Kawhi you saw last night. That’s greatness in itself.

It’s not like Kawhi is just going out at the level he’s at then simply load managing and returning. Nah he has to regain that form.

Can we even name another athlete that’s rehabbed and climbed that mountain over and over like Kawhi did? Even with the best doctors and trainers at their disposal…only Kawhi has done this.

The only players in NBA history who could be argued as equals to LeBron at peak play, have long stopped playing...and you could count those guys on one hand and have a finger or two left over.

You could definitely argue that the apex version of Kawhi is better than the best of Steph or Durant, though...

If anything Harden needs his flowers. For all the shyt he gets he kept the Clippers afloat with Kawhi barely playing and Powell missing some time too.

Zubac too he’s having a career year and the Clippers defense is 4th in the league.

Harden is one of my favorite players ever, but more than that he's one of the greatest scorers and players ever. History will be much more kind to his legacy...

Didn't he have amazing series couple games in and then was out for the rest of playoffs? Like couple years ago.

We have to see Kawhi show that elite basketball for more than half of the series. Last healthy run he had was in 2020 and he blew 3-1 lead lol

Hopefully this is the year Kawhi can stay healthy as we know how surgical he is when he is at his best. Him and Harden could get hot and get to the Finals with Lue being the excellent coach he is. Harden balls out and they win a couple of rounds MAYBE his flowers arrive. But he shouldn't get extra props for leading a team to the playoffs as he has done that his whole career. We know the ONLY reason he doesn't get put on THAT level cause that one transcendent playoff run is missing. Great games of course but a great run NEVER.
