D-Book is more offensively polished, better handles, better at getting and finishing at the rack, can handle the ball and create on P&R, good shooter from three and the midrange, good in the triple threat with jabs and ball fakes, post ups, a microwave isolation scorer.
Klay is one of the greatest shooters of All-Time, I have questions of whether he can create his own shot, he a tall post up guard and has a dribble pull-up, I haven't seen much outside of that. Klay can go nuclear he is a microwave scorer as well, but there's been times when he disappears. Klay can defend 1-3, but I think his defensive impact is a little overrated. No contest there D-Book is one of the worst defenders at his position. I think D-Book's environment has a lot to do with that because he has that dog in him to defend and get in guys jerseys, if he were in a more winning situation with strong defenders around him I think he could defend. D-Book can also get in better shape he still got a lil baby fat on him, he could be more strong and explosive.
To me D-Book is clearly the higher upside player, he just turned 21, Klay is turning 28 this season. D-Book is already an elite perimeter scorer, Klay was still at Washington State balling and smoking blunts at the same stage of development.
