they also had no plans outside their first launch of only kansas city. now they are looking at over 20 locations. and in response to this, att will be pushing out their own 1gig speeds.Why do people keep saying this?

Well yea that was the point of Google Fiber. They wanted to show companies that super speed internet is possible
They understood that the only way those old dinosaurs were going to offer faster internet was to scare them
