1. Tinashe, Azealia Banks, Drawn Richard have a point there drooping high acclaim stuff, and they hardly getting looks for promo, While over 13 white female artists went gold since 09 and just 3 black women. The music industry is clearly racists as hell.
2. Black Twitter is stupid as hell, And black people are on some crab it bucket shyt pulling each other down. Black tweeter got you thinking she arrogant, base off nothing, When really black female artists are being over compared. And Bey, Rih and even some Ciara stans had made own version of Tinashe up where she's a troll. When they don't know a damn thing about her or music. Bey stans went after her when she's a Bey stan herself it's very stupid.

It's obvious that you, an adult male, have a creppy obsession/crush with/on Tinashe. 95% of all the stuff that you typed has nothing to do with tinashe not deserving an award in my opinion, most of the worlds opinion( they clearly don't think she deserves it yet, if they did, she would be much more popular and selling more), and in mtv's opinion. 1. You can't force people to buy someone's music, all labels can do is promote it and hope that people buy it. Out of the 3 in the thread title ab and dawn are the only 2 who lack promotion. Tinashe gets just as much promotion as those other artist you listed did when they first started. People obviously just do not want to buy her music.
I don't think many black soul singers are signed because that genre doesn't usually make labels the most money, and when they are signed, they are usually not promoted as much as pop singers because the labels don't think they will make them a lot of money. White "soul" music is considered pop and sometimes people call it r& b which is the direction that pop is heading in. The old dance/white pop sound is out. R&B and hip hop influenced "pop" songs are the only pop songs that are becoming popular. ex. Ari's singles.
The white nick/disney shows did much better than Zendaya & keke's shows because Zendaya & keke's shows were boring and got cancelled. That's so raven (a black show) was bigger than all of their shows . Zenday actually never had a disney show, it was mainly the white girls show & guess which one out of Zenday and the white girl is more popular? Zendaya is. Check their instagram followers. Ari, Miely, and demi left and already had a huge fan base because of their hit shows. Ari and Demi know how to sing, very well actually. Demi is known for her belting ability. Zendaya is 18 looks like a kid and is still doing kid shows, that's really hurting her, plus she is trying to be a singer, but doesn't know how to sing well. She is disney popular and has at least 10 million followers on instagram, but no one wants to buy her music because it's not good. Have you heard it? Keke is acting and is a main character along with Ari in the new show "Scream Queens" I'm expecting that show to do very well. She has also been acting in other movies. I don't like her singing voice and I don't like most of her songs. Neither does the rest of the world, if they did, she would be bigger/popular. She suffers no lack of promotion, unlike AB and Dawn. That label works hard to promote her and get her all types of endorsment deals because it makes the money. She was selling pro active before her first single came out, but you think she lacks promotion. They have been paying people to write positive articles about her, making sure that she goes to all of the popular radio stations to get interviewed, getting her spots on day time/ late night shows to perform all hands on deck when that song isn't even popular and the people whose show she is on don't even know who she is and have never even heard the song, making sure that her ads were on the side bare on youtube and playing before most of the youtube videos on the background for popular sites like wshh, and getting her a spot on tour with nicki, getting her deals with ralph lauren, and in all types of magazines. But you claim that she lacks promotion? LOL
She deserves an award, but just got to 1 million followers on instagram. The number of sales is always less than the number of social media followers for a new person.
