The problem with KAT is that he isn't nearly the defender that he was billed to be coming out of Kentucky.

The fact alone drops some of his potential in my eyes. He'll never be an elite defender or a high motor 2-way player in the mold of a Duncan/KG like Anthony Davis has developed into.

I still think Towns in his prime is easily a 25+ pts/10+ boards all-NBA type who can impact games but I don't know if he has the mental makeup/motor to be the #1 option on a NBA championship team. That remains to be seen.

Wiggins ain't the #1 option. He's the #4 option. Even Jeff Teague gets more touches in that offense.

The mistake the Wolves made is what I been saying since the start of the year. They'll only go as far as Wiggins takes them. He's the only one on that team with the TALENT to be a #1 option on a contender. His problem is he's passive and has no heart. Instead of pairing him with two selfish gunners like Butler and Towns, they should've built a team around him with dudes who would defer to him. Wiggins doesn't have the character to take the #1 spot. He needs to be pushed. The Wolves made the mistake of buying into the Towns hype and pushing him as the #1 option on the team rather than Wiggins.

Hopefully the Wolves blow this team up and trade Wiggins to a team where he'll get more touches. He has the ability to be special. He just lacks the drive.

No matter how many touches he get you can’t just one day GROW A HEART OR DESIRE!!
