My brethren, what days do we suffer that the most successful, high caliber NBA coaches are losing their jobs? What type of strategy doth ye pursue? Mine eyes hath been shocked and my mind, dumbfounded at such occurrences. Let us take a gander at thy record of terminations.

1. Tom Thibadeau - Fired after much success with Bulls. A title contender when Rose was healthy. Fired.
50-32 in last season with Bulls. 255-139 64% in 5 seasons in CHI.

2. Mark Jackson - Made the Warriors relevant once more and led them to the playoffs after many absences. Fired.
51-31 in last season with GSW. 121-109 52% in 3 seasons with GSW.

3. Kevin McHale - Led Houston to Western Conference Finals last season (2015-16). Fired.
56-26 in last full season with Houston. 193-130 59% in 5 seasons with Rockets.

4. David Blatt - Led the Cavs to NBA Finals last season (2015-16). Had a horrible 30-11 start the next season. Fired.
53-29 in his last full season with Cleveland. 83-40 67% in his 1 1/2 seasons in Cleveland.

5. Lionel Hollins - Led Grizzlies to Western Conference Finals for 1st time in franchise history in 2013. Fired.
56-26 in last season with Memphis. 214-201 51% in 7 seasons with Grizzlies.

6. Frank Vogel - Made the Pacers a title contender. Led them to Eastern Conference Finals two consecutive seasons. Overachieved and lead team to playoffs this season (2015-16). Fired.
45-37 in last season with a poor Indiana team. 250-181 58% in 5 seasons with Pacers.

7. David Joerger - Doesn't really fit the others as he led to his own firing for seeking other coaching opportunities while still employed with Grizzlies. Nevertheless, still a great coach that was fired.
42-40 in last season as Grizzlies head coach. 147-99 59% in 3 seasons with Memphis.

8. Scott Brooks - Made OKC a title contender and led them to the NBA Finals in 2012. Fired.
45-37 in last season with OKC. 338-207 62% in 7 seasons with OKC.

9. Mike Malone - Made the Kings somewhat relevant again and was the best coach they've hired in the DeMarcus Cousins era. He had them playing well and disciplined and looked as if they could creep into the playoffs. After an 11-13 start to the 2014-15 season while Cousins was sidelined with injury, fired.
39-67 36% in 2 seasons with Kings.

10. Monty Williams - Led New Orleans back to the playoffs for first time in 4 seasons. Fired.
45-37 in last season with NO. 173-221 43% in 5 seasons with Pelicans.

May God have mercy on the NBA head coaches.

What say ye to such strange happenings, brethren?

Marc jackson dont belong on that list cause the firing has been justified considering the success theyve had
I understand your words, my friend. On the list I posted, Jackson, Blatt, Joerger and Malone were all fired after 3 or less seasons. I believe the brethren should atleast get 5 seasons. In Jacksons 1st season, they finished below 500. Understandable. The next year, playoffs. The next year, playoffs again. All of this while Curry suffered with injuries.

Why must ye fire a man when thou has not been given a full opportunity to succeed?
