TJ is a good dude and the show is good. For those shytting on BET, at least commend them for taking steps in the right direction.

I hope dude does well with this show. I did see a few episodes and it was okay. BET needs to give this show a chance to get a decent following before pushing it out for more foolishness.

lol it wont

I love T.J. Holmes. He was my favorite CNN and now BET anchor. BUT....

Holmes was married to Amy Ferson; the two divorced in 2007. He married his second wife, Atlanta-area attorney Marilee Fiebig, on March 1, 2010 in Memphis, Tennessee, and they are expecting their first child in January 2013.[9] They live in Atlanta. T.J. Holmes has a son with his college sweetheart, Brooke Moore. He also has a teenage daughter in Texas named Brianna Holmes. She can be found on twitter. She is 16.

That brotha got a lot of kids pre-martial and his name is Loutelious.

BUT!

He's 35, college educated, successful, and in love with his wife. I love my brotha and we need to support him.

This show will not last on BET, I respect TJ Holmes as an anchorman but you need someone like Bill Maher or DL Hughley hosting this show,

It is good dialogue going on on Don't Sleep but it is missing that clever uumph that a political satirist can provide. The show is a little dry. It has that PBS feel to it

On my 2nd episode, and a couple things:

1) they need new writers. The comedy segment is just wack
2) this dude has an annoying voice. That newscaster voice is weird to me. On the breakfast club interview he didn't sound like that. He sounded normal.
3) dude seems kinda...off. I can't put my finger on it. I don't know if it's cause the show is new and he's just trying to figure out his style or what, but there's just something.

The content though seems pretty good. I honestly don't think BET is the right station for it. Their reputation is just way too tarnished.

I applaud TJ for taking this stance but sad to say especially in today's toxic culture, a significant number of people do not want to see nor want to gravitate toward positivity in any form.

I applaud the show and the positivity.TJ is a good dude.I believe the writers and production are gonna hold him back. The guest panel is a joke. The audience laughter is forced. During the debates he had JJ from Good Times and some other people,It was straight up c00nery :scusthov: him leaving CNN to go to BET is backwards move. Lets be reality the show is headed towards cancellation..and give it time and he will come back to cable news. Ratings must be ass for it to go from 4 half-hour shows per week to just a 1 hour 1 day a week show.
