This show will not last on BET, I respect TJ Holmes as an anchorman but you need someone like Bill Maher or DL Hughley hosting this show,

It is good dialogue going on on Don't Sleep but it is missing that clever uumph that a political satirist can provide. The show is a little dry. It has that PBS feel to it

The bolded is my critique of the show also. I understand that he is gearing it towards a more adult audience, but it could still be more energy and move at a faster pace than it does now. He is not going to win with a CNN type feel, it has to be closer to a Colbert Report type show, and if he is going to do it, he has to commit with the jokes (and Viacom pay for some better writers..)
