Breh, Dems had the house on lock before this right? Now Republicans on the verge of taking it with a deep recession incoming...Not sure why everyone in here is so giddy :russ:
Nobody cares about the HOR…senate makes all final decisions

Yall talking like all of this is a win for Black people...if we talking politics then lets be honest..Politically speaking the Democrats losing the house and making amateur decisions on inflation and student loan forgiveness will give the GOP plenty of ammo heading into the 2024 election...Gavin Newsome is the Dems only hope for 2024
The republicans have NO ONE to run that will win a national election, Republicans can’t win with just Republican votes…and independents see them as idiots…. Dems could have Stevie Wonder run for president and see a victory

Democrats retained senate and are on pace to retain the house with Joe Biden as president :dead:

This is A Historical L by the Republicans which really shows how disliked they really are nationwide when Republican states like Pennsylvania, Nevada and Arizona are voting against you.

The Republicans and the right have been in their own bubble for so long they have convinced themselves that a Red Wave, a Red TSUNAMI was gonna happen. There extremism’s, There anti-democratic policies and Them making life harder on folks, Taking Rights hasn’t gone unnoticed especially by young voters.

If the Republicans have any chance in 2024 they will have to move away from the Far right, Move away from facism, Move away from Extremism and come back near the Middle of it will be a bloodbath no matter who’s the Candidate.
These republicans are just leftovers of what the Tea Party used to be…. and they used to lose and get smacked around then…. Republican Party used to diss the tea party, but Trump merged it all under MAGA….and Republicans wanting votes let it happen…. So now they’ll all just lose together like they always should have been.

What does this mean for the average African American in this country?:patrice:
:mjlol:

If you can't see how appointing more judges to weaken Trump's legacy and also prevent our descent into fascism (especially after a Trump appointee just block student loan forgiveness and the recent attempts the GOP has made to limit voting rights) will indirectly benefit us as a people I don't know what to say. Grow up and stop having this all or nothing approach to politics. That isn't how anything works in this world. Our most basic civil rights are in jeapardy and you guys think we're getting reparations anytime soon. Its ridiculous.

Yall really in here underestimating DeSantis... Dude is gonna be a problem for '24 if he runs...
Votes will be split between trump loyalists and GOP(read Desantis) loyalists. The move by Democrats is to in a low key way exploit the growing division within their ranks. So far it's working. A good chunk of the GOP will fall in line and back Desantis.

But a politically unacceptable chunk are too emotionally invested in Trump 2024. If/when he tells them to stay home and not vote they are gonna listen!

We will see untold levels of tantrums. An indictment will only embolden him to crudh the GOP further. Next 2 years are about to be fun fun fun. Some in the GOP are starting to see it but it's too late to stop it.

I aint know not any of them folks on my ballot cept the governor and Ihlan. blue straight down. Even tried to look at the other side to see if I can find any obviously ehtnic names for good measure. I did my part, We up :wow:
I always take out my phone when I'm choosing local candidate and look them up. Who ever is black and pro-civil rights is who I check off. And if its between two pro-civil rights black candidates I go with the younger one.

Voting kicks ass.

Student loan forgiveness doesn't benefit Black people as a whole

I’d say DeSantis is more racist than Trump.

If Trump got his second term he'd have declared police occupance and martial law in every "Democrat run" (ie: black) city. And he would have taken the "destroy wokeness" DeSantis agenda nationwide and turned it into the hottest talking point while his horrible policies digs us deeper into inflation and recession.

It don't even matter. They all on the same time as far as normalizing and pushing white power rhetoric.
