DeSantis is a scrub who has no appeal outside of Florida MAGA pro-Trump dumbasses. And by 2024 inflation and crime and shyt is NOT going to be where it is now. The economy will recover. "Crime" will stop beating this sensationalized headlines. Republicans had their chance to capitalize on this and have nothing but momentum for 2024 and they failed. Now they are going through a rude awakening after banking on Trump. Im sure even Ron is rethinking if being an ardent support of Trump is the future of his career. All this hype for DeSantis or Trump is only coming from other Republicans. The middle ground voters like Biden a helluva lot more than the Trump GOP. The jig is up with far right extremism.

Republicans best chances are to put the southern strategy to rest and start bolstering a cheeky guy-next-door moderate who can put the extremism of the party to the backseat and revitalize the partys image while still supporting the white power core of his party, appealing to everyone. If a decent looking, sensible, non-MAGA Republican had next with the party, I'd be worried. Tuesday showed me that the country is NOT moving to the right as much as I expected. In fact voters are overwhelming cursing the MAGA extremism. Tuesday was historic. I aint worried about DeKkklantis. He is not this strong candidate outside of his base who always get hyped up in their echo chambers for some tough guy bigot everyone else will hate. Them pitting two hateful white nationalist ego maniacs against each other and making their idiotic voters decide is nothing but a layup for the Biden team.

Next two years is gonna be fireworks. Trump is the racist beast they unleashed when they knew he was inappropriate for the White House. And hes nothing but the Republican parties problems now. Trump already got dirt on DeSantis we know he will unleash with no forethought and no concern for anyone but himself. He is gonna spend the next two years lashing out and obstructimg Republicans beginning to speak against him with far more vigor than he had towards "crooked Hillary" or "Sleepy Joe"

Do you realize there are laws and legislation that have nothing to do with race, but still affect us? All of us don’t want to stay in a bubble where the only issues we care about are black issues. We live in this country. We pay taxes. And California is viewed very negatively by the rest of the country. Gavin runs a state where you have people going in stores, and taking whatever they want, and not being stopped. Republicans are suing and the judge agreed to halt student loans because they said it mostly benefits black people due to the Pell grant inclusion for a disbursement of 10k extra. Black people are the biggest recipients of Pell Grant by over 70%.
