True, but also gotta account for the fact that so many idiots love Desantis since he let the state stay open and didn't do as severe lockdowns. So they all decided to move to Florida and ride his nuts. The fact that immigrants can come to the country and not vote yet people can move to another state and mess up the politics seems preposterous but it is what it is. Without covid, Desantis would be irrelevant. Still don't see what benefit he has done for the state or why people like him. They think he's gonna fix the economy as well as the rest of the Republicans. I don't trust any of these politicians. Hopefully things don't get worse, but it looks like it's heading that way no matter which party is in control. US empire barely hanging on. Hopefully the Chinese or Russians or any other country doesn't decide to bomb us all.
Issue is they not meeting those Cubans on their on level. They need someone who will speak Spanish and canvas those heavy Latin areas. Cubans and the Latinos down there are Republicans by nature, the democrat candidates they usually have are garbage. I know this because in the hick redneck areas in my state (OH) they never have a good dem run in the sticks
