Joy said that immigrants have lower crime rates. Tariq said that wasn't true. Tariq was lying.

Tariq also claimed that Black immigrant crime isn't counted in immigrant crime statistics. Which was also a lie.

Tariq's "point" that you claim he got right was that Black immigrant crime gets counted in Black crime statistics. But that point doesn't stand because including immigrant crime numbers makes the Black crime rate go DOWN, not up. Literally the exact opposite of Tariq's point.




The guy I was responding to literally said that being born in America was irrelevant, if you are the child of an immigrant you are an immigrant too. And Malcolm's mother was an immigrant, so he was the child of an immigrant. Are you denying that Malcolm X was the child of an immigrant?






You do know the difference between crime TOTALS and crime RATES, right?

And you just proved that you didn't read any of the studies, because if you had you would have seen that most of the illegal latinos in federal lockup are there for immigration violations, not for actual federal crimes. The illegal immigrant crime rate among latinos is less than half of the native crime rate.




So was Malcolm X an immigrant or not? Read the studies. They show that immigrant crime is lower than native crime across all races, and since Black crime rates are higher than White or Latino crime rates the difference is even larger. Educate yourself, please.

If you're really too ignorant to understand the difference between rates and totals, then there's no point in a conversation here. Black immigrants getting added in lowers the total Black crime rate. Harsh realities of LIFE are too much for some people to deal with. One of the ways people cope is to create safe havens where they can escape from that reality.. Anybody that disturbs that fantasy world by bringing reality back into it, has to be attacked.
