so again, it's somebody else's fault, not theirs, for not making the effort to find out about who was running....i get it now: no matter what, it's always gonna be somebody else's fault....ok....so yea, bernie was the savior...damn shame his supporters didnt actually get out there and support him so he could save us....
The reason they televise debates is for the people to hear them. Maybe some people werent interested because they never heard a candidate to speak to them till they heard Bernie

there are more ways to find out about candidates than hearing them speak...so again, that falls on them for not making the effort to find out about the people and what was coming up, but yet it's not their fault, it's somebody else's....man, no....voting aint something new....this shyt happens every 2 years, so cats know it's coming....to take the time to find out about what/who is on the ballot is nothing...if cats dont wanna vote just cause they dont want to, cool..but stop with the bullshyt excuses....

Doesn't change the fact that people come into politics at different times. How is the candidate suppose to a representation of the people when you have so many restrictions on who can vote

america really needs to discuss the electoral college and how it was supposed to be a quick fix for slave states (3/5ths compromise) in order to appease slave owners politically but yet has become the determining part of our political system.

i read somewhere today that prisoners are still counted as citizens when it comes to how many reps a state gets. guess which states most of these large ass prisons are in :sas2:

we are still operating in a slavery-based political system.

Where The Grass Is Blue
Indiana voted Blue in 18-29??? Wow that is surprising.

Goddammit Kentucky :snoop:.

I dont know why Im constantly surprised that outside of Louisville this state is a dumpster fire. And louisville isnt even that great.
Republicans have Kentucky in a cobra clutch, Mitch McConnell makes sure this state eats....like I was telling my friend, a dead fish could've been the Republican candidate and Kentucky still would've went red:snoop:

i understand people come into politics at different times, but that doesnt change the fact that no matter the time you come into them, you can still easily do research and find shyt out about how things work, what the candidates that are potentially running stand for, etc....to make it seem like all that responsibility lays on the system's side and when it doesnt work out how voters wanted, is bullshyt....

as for restrictions on who can vote: again, it goes back to people need to do research...voting isnt something that just happens....we first learn about voting when we cant vote...sure, everyone doesnt get nor care about it then, but that is the introduction...when people do start caring about it, that's when they need to research and find out the qualifications for what it takes to be able to vote, where they can vote at, when they can vote, etc....

....it's not as hard nor is the info hidden like cats wanna make it seem...the same way they can get on the internet to find porn, stats, etc., they can find what it takes to be able to vote...

The Godverse
no, they didnt...the popular vote between those 2 during the primaries:

hillary - 15,805,136
bernie - 12,029,699

if he had beat her, yall would have a case/point, but he didnt, she beat him by more than 3.7 mill votes....if he was the better candidate like yall claim, the votes would be backing that up cause that means people came out, but they not....so yall really need to stop talking like he was gonna be some savior, and stop 'big, bad trump'.....by himself, he wouldve gotten his ass whupped too...

now dont take that the wrong way....i do think a hillary/bernie ticket wouldve gotten the white house, but all the talk about who/what cost hillary the election are just bullshyt tactics being used by whites and people in power to avoid talking about the real...the real being that the majority of whites voted trump into office cause he ran a racist, misogynistic, hate, and fear fueled campaign, plain and simple....as long as they got everyone talking/pointing fingers at everything else, they dont have to answer/explain that, can keep lying like that wasnt the case, and dont have to worry about more people waking up and seeing the truth...

ex: trump talked so much shyt about women, yet the majority of white women voted for him after all that shyt they talked....yet instead of putting the spotlight on them about that, cats are more occupied with shyt like 'well, if they wouldve picked bernie, they wouldve won' or '(insert whatever demographic except whites) cost hillary the election, why didnt they come out to vote for her?'....naw, fukk that, dont fall for the okie doke...start asking 'why did so many white people, especially white women, vote for trump?'....

The problem with Bernie's campaign was that many people didn't know who the fukk he was. At least Obama gave that keynote speech in 2004 before running for president. Considering that many people didn't know Bernie, he actually overperformed in the primaries. :ehh:

i agree...the thing people keep ignoring: bernie wasnt a dem...he was tying to get his trump on, but the dnc was in a lot better shape than the rnc, so he couldnt take it over like trump did them....if the rnc was in better shape, it wouldve been rubio or cruz up against hillary, not trump...hell, we need to get rid of the 2 party system, but i digress....

anyway, i think that's one reason why bernie took so long to drop out...he was seeing what trump was doing and wondering why he wasnt getting similar results....it's cause the dnc wasnt having that shyt like the rnc...
