Because you don't need to have knowledge on any topic to post in TLR. Lack of sports knowledge will get you laughed out of the coliseum. Lack of music knowledge will get you laughed out of the Booth. You have to have a decent grasp on current affairs to post in Higher Learning. There's pretty much no qualifications to posting in TLR

The old TLR had the wolves but it was also funny and you could talk about personal things happening in life, and women regularly posted in those threads.

Meanwhile when was the last time you saw the most dapped post on The Coli TLR that was actually funny? It's usually a stream of desperate vicious hating.
