I would not touch the lever. By doing such, you are now causing the death of that one man, however if you do nothing, you are merely a bystander that has no obligation to help anyone.

Now, as a human being though, being stuck in that situation would haunt me either way.

I'd like to say I'd pull it but it would suck if the one person was a dedicated youth counselor and the other 5 were rapists. I'd pull the lever. The one survivor would probably have survivor's guilt and kill themselves anyway. Or they might live but not live well.
