Illmatic is a classic. That being said, I always liked Nas as a lyricist, but the lame ass highs and no bass just make his music unbearable. I'm from the A so, I need some drop in my shyt. Only Nas album I bought was stillmatic. Not being bias, but tm101 is a fukking banging ass album. Can't go wrong either way. Imo the beats help make a certifiable classic, so tm101 > Illmatic.

Life is Good is like Nas 5th best album and it's better than anything Jeezy ever made. And I'm not a Jeezy hater I respect the dude as an artist. Foh man, the only Nas albums I didn't like are Nastradamus and Street's Disciple. Never listened to Distant Relatives since I'm not a reggae guy. After that I don't see how Illmatic, It Was Written, Stillmatic, God's Son, Lost Tapes, Hip Hop is Dead, Life is Good are wack.
