I think a large part of this is black people particularly black males are easy targets. We have no powerful systems, or social capital to protect us when non-blacks and in some cases blacks do this. It becomes an easy formula, clown black folks, maybe reinforce some stereotypes and profit. Rinse and repeat.

True but also america is built on the misery of black folks. Pushing black stereotypes, selling blacks as villians or showing blacks getting their just deserts is a multi billion dollar industry.

The whole sports industry is based on these principles as well. ESPN probably made more money off of Lebron, Tiger and Vick selling them as villians than they ever have selling them as heros.

shyt I would argue in sports you can make more money selling a black villian than selling a white hero.....now think about that.
