Will be interesting to see the pivot this week since this was pretty much an inexcusable loss and a bad game from Hurts despite the 280 yds.

It's almost impossible to have some sort of nuanced discussion nowadays. I think the Eagles will turn it around, but it was clear to anyone with functioning eyes that the offense has/has its issues. However, the responses would be "Jalen is a winner", "Jalen is clutch", or some random cherry picked favorable statistics to try and make it look like that offense is elite. It was clear he was missing throws, especially some of the downfield ones. If you pointed that out (correctly), there Eagles fans became psychotic.

I think the Eagles defense will be perfectly fine, and I do think that offense gets better. However, a lot of the criticism is valid.

It's looking just like 2023. The signs where there but they kept winning. Then they lost like 5 out of there last 6 games

This is the same thing that's been happening to Liverpool in the epl this season, winning games on in the last 5 minutes. Finally lost 2 in a row. It's only "the heart of a champion" if you can display that you can also not keep games close

People cant' discuss the game, especially when it's two division rivals playing in primetime?

And, no one is focusing on the injuries on the defensive side of the ball. There are certainly injuries there, and I believe the Eagles defense will be more than fine. The discussion is about the offense and the lack of a passing game and explosiveness. That is a valid discussion, no matter what you want to believe. It's become more of a discussion the past week and especially after last night because those that questioned the offense even though the Eagles were 4-0 were told they had no clue what they were talking about. Teams can have a great record and still have some glaring issues. The Eagles were able to win some of those games because they are just flat out more talented. However, come January, they will absolutely need Hurts to show up and be able to make the big throws.
