Stopped at mid 20s. But even before that it was only madden, gta, 2k, and a random game like max payne. Never had the attention span either tho

The quality of games is a big issue honestly. I've mostly quit gaming but I still spent hours fukking around in BOTW, doing heists in GTA5, and getting my ass kicked in Apex Legends.
Most of the overhyped garbage that folks lose their minds over are all mediocre.

Feeling ain't the same. Remember when you were a kid and friends came over and y'all hopped on the game for hours. I remember those Halo 3 nights 4 play split screen, shyt was

I gave them up around 20 when I started chasing p*ssy heavily. Got back into it around 28. The way games advanced and the backlog is

All the game engines worth purchasing a console outside of zelda and mario.
No longer are really uograded or innovated. Ao i have not ourchased a new console.
Yet if the aki engine ever is put into the aew game. I would purchase a new Nintendo console to play it.
Past that,...no game engine is challenging enough day to day. To warrant a purchase.
For me to indulge in street fighter i would need a world tournament. As the engine on the hardest setting is food to me still even if i casually play i never lose to a civilian.
So at this point i have not bought a new game.
Ladt game i played consistently was pubg.
Where i ended with a eighty two percentile in group in the top ten all time.
Then the last time i played season i had an 88 percent on group in top ten. Plus a ninety two percentile rating in top ten on singles.
So i lost interest.
If they ever grt live right like live ten then maybe i will buy a console. Yet if no aki engine.
I know zelda and mario not gon hold me over. Nor is grand theft gonna hold me over cause i have st andreas on my icon phone and i grew bored of that. As the gangbangin portion is the only oart i really like after flipping it.
So until the aki engine is remade
I probably will not be inclined to buy a kew console.

It's never been easier to invest in gaming than right now. A $300 Series S is all you need for casual gaming.

I havent played a video game in 3-4 months but last time I was playing Vice City on my PS5. And I was playing that VR mario kart game with my lil primo a while back too.
Before that was a long gap of not playing video games bc I be so busy.
I have less time nowadays but if I have free time & I feel like it I’ll throw on some GTA or COD. I’ll never stop playing GTA .

I'm like in my second childhood and playing more than ever. Catching up on games i missed out on. But not an all day affair or nothing haven't played last several days and usually never play on the weekends. But I'm enjoying playing games again. fukk it.
I'm 40 and definitely still have games i want to play. I got a good machine, but i haven't played much lately cause my main focus has been audio as source of entertainment.

Just bought an Arcade Guys full arcade machine that came loaded with 10k games from Atari up to Dreamcast n64 era and a bunch of actual arcade only releases. Should tide me over till I can get back into console gaming

I try to play video games now but I stop playing only after a few hours. I can’t dedicate 100 hours into games anymore. I have my own business to run, a girlfriend, dog, house to take care of and I like to go on vacations . I stopped being able to when I was probably 25.

Sounds like you need self control above all us.
But to answer your question I did quit video games until my sons was born. I didn’t return to playing until they were in 1st or 2nd grade. Also, I was going through University as well.
It really about having control, your hobbies shouldn’t take over your life. They should help fill the spare time in your life not consume the bulk time of your life.

im playing destiny and browsing the forums 
After I bought The Witcher 3 for a $10 discount and completed it, I’ve totally lost interest in gaming like that. The game was so good, I think that it may have altered/ruined my gaming experience. No other game can compare to it, and I just find them boring, repetitive and a waste of time. I’m curious about these new virtual reality consoles/systems though.
I bought my kids a Nintendo Switch and I mess around on that occasionally with the wife and family. Besides that, I don’t dabble in gaming anymore. I workout, garden, read, and maintain my home in my little free time.
