No where in any of my posts did i say i wanted to be led..

My question was..................................

Kaep wanted to bring awareness to police brutality against black and brown people by kneeling during the N/A....

He got the attention...

Now what was the plan?

I know you have no answer, but I'll ask anyway..

Kaep kneeled because he couldn’t find it in his soul to pledge allegiance and/or honor a flag that represents a country that oppresses his people. I get it, because I started refusing to say the pledge of allegiance when I was in grade school for the same reason. He doesn’t have to have an entire plan for how to solve racial discrimination to justify his kneeling. What justifies his kneeling is the constitution which is put succinctly in the Star Spangled Banner “the land of the free and home of the brave” extra emphasis on the free part. If America lived up to the land of the free part of their slogan then the kneeling would be a total non-issue.

But America DOES NOR live up to it which is why the reaction to the kneeling from a lot of White Americans was “shut up and play”. THUS highlighting the hypocrisy in the USA that compelled him to want to kneel in the first place. Lastly, the only reason this got so huge is due to the fact that America is racist and doesn’t like strong African American voices. If the media simply said “he’s exercising his freedom” and then moved on to other stories, the kneeling would have been a non-issue. But no, it had to be sensationalized and that is what created the large platform for Kaepernick to speak his thoughts.

You're literally projecting what you want him to be about and made a romanticized image of him in your head.

It's just strange to me how this board rightfully saw through Deray's bullshyt attempt to ride woke culture to the bank but fall hook line and sinker for Colin Kaepernick.

It must be the light skin

Folks still rooting for that fraud Kaepernick. :mjlol: fukk him. Dude is an agent like deray, Shaun king, al sharpton and the rest of these "actorvists" doing that shyt for fame and/or money. It's almost the year 2020. Start seeing these frauds for which they are... frauds.

He looks stupid as hell with that afro on his head too. Andre3000 told you 21 years ago. Everyone with dreads isnt for the cause. That punk kaep had the audacity to try to put a trademark on his look too. We really need to start checking these frauds and even laying hands on them to send a message. Enough is enough. No more false preachers.

Gang violence...
i will say, max's comments about stephen a were very gracious, and i think that does give insight into why stephen a is always c00ning, but i still wont excuse it. if he is from the "islands" culturally, then he needs to stop speaking on our issues so authoritatively

Opting out of your contract is not "quitting the NFL"

:mindblown:

The fukk does feeding the homeless have to do with police brutality or racism??? He wasnt kneeling for that.

Whoever you're supposed to be the spokesperson for needs to fire your ass. You're doing a terrible job.

Protesting is a form of philanthropy. He can't kneel for justice if cacs keep him out the league but he's still bringing attention to the cause.

That's not how settlements work at all...

Or do u think Michael Jackson really molested all those kids he settled with? Even after their claims were ripped to shreds.

You're talking about a trial that could last years with lawyers that charge hundreds to thousands of dollars an hour.

Not to mention 60 million is a drop in the bucket to a company with revenue in the billions every year
You're slow as hell if you think the NFL is gonna part ways with $60M to "make the problem go away". The NFL never viewed it as a problem anyway. Prior to the Kaepernick situation, the bad press the NFL was getting was due to concussions. If anything, Kaep protesting galvanized their racist fanbase to support them unconditionally. That took that spotlight off their real issue, concussions and CTE. The problem for them came when Kaepernick's lawyers found damning evidence that proved they colluded. Speaking of damning evidence, no, I don't believe Michael Jackson molested those kids, but it was his word against that of a child and no proof he could provide to say he didn't touch any of them. He slept in a bed with underage children, which is damning evidence. Whether he did it or not, he looked funny for putting himself in that situation. If the subpoena that Kaep's lawyers drew up didn't find anything, the NFL would've told him to kick rocks and probably would've counter sued.
