There's more to lyrical ability then multiplysyllabic rhyming. I was once told that the best writers say more with less. Once you apply that concept
you realize jay is on another level. He does it so smooth and effortless too

I just hate that he DID dumb it down....but even a more recent song like "Thank You" proves that the nikka ain't lost it lyrically at all, WHEN he actually TRIES to rhyme.

honestly that "Nodding and Throwing up" double entendre was something I didn't even catch til last week.

I was at work reciting the Reservoir Dogs verses out loud, recited that part and stopped like

it's just so effortless. It's pure slick talk.

I was saying this about somebody like Lupe's wordplay and Hov's.

Lupe, and a lot of rappers, you're braced to hear the punchlines. You're still entertained but you're expecting them.
