Honestly the Raptors get up there too when it's the playoffs but not till 2nd round. 1st round is OK (300/per for upper, 500-700/per for lower) but get gross after that.

Ad long As they exist in the province of Ontario, the leafs will always be revelant and print money. Leafs are like the cowboys or Knicks. They are a Big market and brand with a deep and massive fanbase who will always check for them no matter what. The Leafs will always have sellout crowds in every game. They will always get extensive media coverage, great TV ratings and buzz around Them. Same people who are mad and sad about them right now will be right back in October to watch all the games. They are the most popular professional sports team in the greater Toronto Area, in the province of Ontario and in Canada. Ice Hockey is our national sport and Toronto is our biggest city by far, so do the math. The leafs are also the second oldest franchise in the nhl(founded after the Montreal Canadiens ) and the second most successful line (13 Stanley cup titles before the 1967 expansion)
This is the ninth year of the matthews/nylander/ nylander/rielly era and they haven’t even reached a ECF yet. So pathetic. Not even close. Imagine if during the we the north era, masai kept DeRozan instead getting Kawhi and Green. Imagine if he never traded Valanciunas for Marc Gasol at the 2019 deadline. The raps would have wasted away their window of contention just like the leafs are wasting theirs. Leafs management team will have to make Tough choices and decisions and permanently change the core of this team if they want to win. They know they can’t win a chip with these motherfukkers. We have enough proof of it.
Tonight’s game is Maybe the last one ever in Toronto for Tavares, Matthews, Marner and rielly. They all got to go. I don’t care how the leafs management team do it, but they must get the f*** out of Toronto. All of them.
Treliving must find a way to move out that long and expensive rielly contract.
They’ve changed the coach.
They’ve changed the GM.
They’ve changed the 3rd and 4th liners multiple times.
They’ve changed 5 of the d-men multiple times
They’ve gone through countless goalies.
They even changed the captain.
The common denominator has always been those core 5 guys in particular ( Rielly, nylander, Tavares, Marner, and matthews) none of which have done a single meaningful thing in the playoffs so far.
Is it too much to ask that just once one of those guys put the team on his back and lead them to glory?
We have had a decade of results and samples. We have enough proofs of their choking ability when it matters most. It’s not a bug but a feature . They don’t have the heart, grit, intelligence, determination poise, sense of purpose, and character to win in the playoffs. Goodbye and good riddance.
They had a 2-0 series lead on Florida this year and they blew it in 7, losing game five and seven 6-1 on home ice. Inacceptable
