Rae was my favorite member of the Wu. I was so hyped for this album that me and my boy walked to the store and copped the day it dropped as soon as the store opened. We spent the whole day playing the album over and over while playing NBA Live. We were blown away. It’s my favorite album ever to this day

Questlove is lowkey worse than Fat Joe when it comes to this Hip Hop Forest Gump shyt he’s on. And I never liked how he pretentiously likes to act like he’s been a fan of all of the guys who “made it” past a certain time period when its documented he either hated or threw shade at those same artists in real time back in the day.


Having said that, he’s a talented muthafukka and i’ll NEVER take that away from him. Plus I love how he documents and protects black music history from our legends. His documentaries are FIRE.

But sometimes its best if he just shut the fukk up and play those damn drums

that dude sneak disses everyone. Like Ziggiy said, he's talented and I bought all of the Roots albums, but it's just hard to like him as a human being. For a while after they played backup to Jay Z at the unplugged, he was dissing Nas. Calling him "Mr. Kelis" and shyt lol. The crazy thing is that he acted like he didn't know why Nas dissed them AFTER they played Nas' music on "takeover" during the Unplugged. He also said he wasn't interested in D'angelo when he first dropped. He's the biggest self-centered azzhole in hip hop. I now see why Prince didn't like him and was always dissing him.

Dude is EASILY the most insecure cat I've been around in music.

I don’t want to air too much out, but his childhood f*cked him up. That's why he does the know-it-all act so much, even though 1/2 of the time, what he's speaking on is common sense. Dude switches accents and how he speaks, depending on who's in the room and behind the scenes, has always been the kind of person that The Roots criticized in songs. Just a really fake and fraudulent character that has been getting over for years.

And this is coming from someone that was biggest Roots fan, up until after Things Fall Apart. The morale and direction in that group suffered because of his ego.

Top 5-6 album for me, of all time any genre. Still not my favorite Wu-Tang album, which says a lot (Liquid Swords).

Brilliant, perfect etc there's just nothing to knock this album for lol.
