Mike Trout signing that one year deal with the Angels made a tear trickle down my right eye.

Between Bron three year deal years back with Cleveland and then skating....and seeing Trout tell the Angels "I'm giving you clowns one year to get it together or I'm skating." These young players today are SOOOOOOOO much more savvy than those from yesteryear.

I know young cats don't get to hear this often...but yall doing it better than ol heads at times. Don't let niqqas my age tell you differently.

Who said ultimatum? He's giving himself an option to bounce after 2017. It's up to the Angles to prove to him he's worth staying there. They know it. He doesn't have to say it verbatim.

do you know how long it is till 2017 is, and isnt he getting paid the very next year for arbitration in 2015? so yes, i think this 1 million dollar raise shows Mike Trout the Angels want him and wanna work with him

What exactly makes you think Trout is thinking "I'm giving you clowns one year to get it together or I'm skating." The one year deal is a good faith deal from the club, they didn't have to give him an increase. There are reports that he might be closing in on a 6 year deal (covering arbitration years and a couple of free agent years)
