One would say on the contrary they do, you look at the draft year in an out, and it's a crap shoot, half the dudes that went first flame out, or become a journey men, so to give scouts credibility ehhh, but also won't give mcshay credit either, he makes his picks based on a formula and trends amongst war room grades gms give out, and things that may make them an asset or liability. Which is why I like watching the draft but don't invest in it much, I know a lot of kids go because the the name on the front or back of the jersey, or combine workout

The NFL and people like Todd McShay put too much value into dumb shyt like 6'5, 230lbs rather than whether a mufukka can play football and was successful at the highest levels.

Yeah scouting comes into play even if a kid didn't play at a top program like Khalil Mack.
But you can't tell me that someone like Josh Dobbs, Lamar Jackson or Jerod Evans -- guys who played in tough conferences and are mobile threats have to drop several rounds or go unpicked at all.
