WB dropped Nevers because they was a complete tone change once Whedon wasnt in charge of the script anymore.

Lol at everybody having the same sentiments about the main character being a white dude. I enjoyed this show and that was my same gripe.

Is Mann still involved? The last 2 episodes were bad enough that I wouldn't watch that series, but the first 6 were fire.

They only showed him get stabbed up. IIRC he was still moving before the finale ended. So I knew his death wasn't a sure thing. They gotta show me a dead body to make it definite.

Looks solid enough. That episode 1 sequence that Mann directed was so dope. I have watched that part a few times, where they performed the Yakuza ceremony.

Did the show ever loop back around to the Episode 1 intro, where he has that sit down with the Yakuza
