No, it doesn't because you'd just look like an angry Montana stan who is mad that Brady gets props because you see him as a threat. You're about as credible on Tom Brady as you are on Kobe Bryant. The tuck rule happened and then Brady proceeded to lead a a gamewinning drive in the SB...proving he was no fluke.

Spygate was what exactly...Bellicheck got in trouble for cameras being a few feet from where they were supposed to be...do you know how dumb this sounds when a league-wide memo was sent out prior to the season. It was so overblown that the Boston Globe had to retract the lies they made up surrounding it like filming practices or face a Kraft libel suit. You guys really fell for that clown Goodell bringing in that dude on live TV for a discussion he could've had on the phone for publicity as legit don't you.... Only for the guy to say "I actually don't know anything." Spygate goes down as the most overblown controversy in history. No one cries about the Miami Dolphins literally recording the Patriots audibles so that they knew our plays, etc., etc.,

Spygate contingent = a bunch of people who couldn't believe the Pats were that good so they had to be cheating.

Apparently, arguably the greatest coach and QB combination of all time were so stupid that they literally knew the other team's play and were only able to win playoff games by 3 points. Do you people hear yourselves......TOM BRADY and BELLICHECK knew your plays and they only beat you by 3....:snoop:

:camby:

Spygate was the biggest cheating scandal in the history of the modern NFL. And the patriots were punished appropriately with unprecedented fines and loss of draft picks. Obviously the league felt the benefits they got were massive or they wouldnt have been punished in that manner

Yeah they beasted the season it all came out (the last season they had the stolen data) but still failed to win a ring since. I don't give teams credit for making the superbowl, rex Grossman made the superbowl too, the Bills made 4 in a row, you don't get accolades for just making it there

Until Tom Brady proves he can lead his team to a ring as the unquestioned leader of the team I just don't think he can be in the GOAT discussion :manny:

So it's not the schedule, it's his division?

Why don't you haters huddle up and try to come up with better excuses. :krs:

wait a minute i'm just pointing out fact in the argument. that doesn't make me a hater in the least sense.

the AFC east has been a weak division for a long time, but in the NFL come playoff time and you play better teams your results are different.

Those two Giants superbowl wins were the two flukiest wins I've ever seen in my years of watching sports. Eli escapes the sack and Tyree catches that shyt with his helmet? :beli: Manningham makes that ridiculous catch on the sideline and keeps both feet in/Wes Welker being a cac and dropping the ball? :beli:

Brady the GOAT and this is from a Jets fan brehs

and won every single championship in that span
That defense got lit up for 29 by the Panthers and Brady had to set the SB completion record and throw 3 TDs, all that talk should have been dead then and there. Then he turned Deion Branch into a millionaire :wow:

That pass was a bit high. Welker's dropped pass in the other SB was more catchable.

Patriots were not destined to win the SB in 07. That helmet catch was proof.

Well you have a point but SB 42 was yet another example of the Pats defense not being able to get big stops in the 4th quarter of Playoff games, it's been a constant theme and it makes tom's 17 playoff wins even more impressive. Let's look at some of these

-SB against the Rams in 01'. Give up 2 TD's in the 4th quarter to tie the Game with under 2 mins left. No one remembers because Brady calmly leads them down the field for the game winning drive
- SB against the Panthers, gives up 16 Points in the 4th quarter and makes Jake Delhomme look like Montana. Again no one remembers because of the gamewinning drive at the end by tom and the overall great performance
-2007 AFC championship game against Indy, arguably the biggest second half defensive collapse ever (32 overall points/17 in the 4th quarter). Brady puts them up with 3 with Less then 5 mins left and they let peyton march 80 yards down the field for the gamewinning drive
-SB against the Giants, 14 Points in the 4th quarter and giving up a 4 point lead with less then 3 mins left with Eli's drive.

Then you have other examples like the 12' AFC championship game where they almost blew it if not for a lee Evans drop and the missed kick. Or the Next SB against the Giants again letting eli march down the field to take the lead.

Tbh I don't think there's any all time great QB who's dealt with more fourth quarter defensive collapses in the playoffs then Tom Brady.

Mcnabb with eagles is the only thing that comes close to as impressive as Brady feat in recent times. Not impressed by Peyton. I actually think mcnabb was more impressive. If mcnabb had better coaching and management of the game around him, we'd look at him differently

Breh, you're a Peyton Manning stan. You'll never give credit to Brady:childplease:

Meanwhile, the only time Peyton won the SB was when he threw 3 TDs to 7 INTs during that run:russ:

True. The only reason why he lost both SBs was because he didn't have the ball last:ehh:

At least he didn't throw game winning TD passes to the opposing teams:lolbron:

wait a second, you point out the times where his D failed to get stops or make plays? Let's point out when they make plays to help clinch key playoff wins

2001 SB - held the greatest show on turf to 14 points. Nuff said
2003 - AFC ship picked of seyton manning 3 times and shut the colts offense down
2004 - divisional once again held indy to 3 points and picked manning off 3 or 4 times
2004 - SB - picked of donofthem mcswagg 3 times and held philly when they could've been up 14 or 17-0 with great D.
2007 - AFC ship game - held the high flying chargers to 16 points or so while brady threw 3 picks

the Pats lost and won SBs giving up the same amount of points. The points margins are also the same. Why do you try so hard to look stupid when discussing Brady and the Pats?
