1b. brady

it was an honor to watch jordan. it's an honor to watch brady. i appreciate the greatness. :ehh:
Watching Jordan play was a spectacle of the highest order. He did magical things seemingly impossible by mere mortals. He had people talking about the things he did for days, weeks, months after. Breh was mythical.

Brady is, to be frank, kinda boring to watch. I've very, very rarely been wowed by him. 2007 season apart, he doesn't have many magical moments. Falcons comeback, maybe? He's never been the most exciting player, much less QB, in the league. He's the product of a ruthlessly efficient system/coach. Where are his mythical stories? He's never been Must Watch TV™. What am I going to tell my kids about watching Tom Brady play? He's just been checking down to a bunch of no-name cacs for the past like 6 years. He's completely encapsulated by the numbers, he has nothing outside of them.

and if you are not wowed by Brady then you probably should stick to basketball breh. :mjlol:

if you know how to watch football then you know Brady is a cheat code.

it ain't about the fancy throws. it ain't about gaudy stats. Prime brady beat you before the snap happened. there is no improvisation. there is no random lucky play. Brady beat you by by you being you. brady knows more about you then you know about yourself.

Brady got you when you being in the wrong place at the wrong time. he got you by you making the same mistake you made 6 years ago. Brady got you if you don't study the tape.

football is a game of chess breh. and brady is the master at it. only football heads understand the beauty of genius at work.

Genius.
